Leslie Marmon Silko is a Laguna Pueblo Indian who has written many novels and

verse forms in her life-time. One of these verse forms, “ Storytelling, ” is really

interesting to me. This verse form excites me because it tells of the impact that

storytelling has on people in Laguna civilization. I will analyse and research many

parts of this verse form. One of these topics is theme. The subject of

“ Storytelling ” is really the art of storytelling. Another facet of

the verse form I will look at is tenseness. There is a specific tenseness between the

hubby and the married woman in this verse form. Following, I will research how imagination helped Silko
